It’s easy to be attracted to a bag in a beautifully styled photo, but I always think about what will happen once it becomes part of a normal day.

Can you wear suede outside autumn?
Absolutely. I wouldn’t limit suede to cold weather, although I might change the color and size of the bag.
In spring, a light tan or soft gray suede bag can look beautiful with a trench coat, cropped jeans and loafers. For summer, I would choose a smaller shape and pair it with linen, cotton or a simple white dress. The contrast between the soft bag and lightweight clothes can look relaxed and slightly bohemian.
The only time I would probably leave it at home is during heavy rain or on a day when I know the bag will be placed on damp ground. Suede needs a little more awareness than a wipe-clean material. That doesn’t make it impractical; it just means checking the weather before leaving.
It’s also worth remembering that suede develops character with use. The nap may shift slightly in areas that are touched often, and the color can look different depending on the direction of the fibers. That is part of its charm, although regular gentle brushing helps keep the surface looking even.

The reason I keep coming back to suede is simple: it makes basic clothes more interesting without making them harder to wear.
