Winter in Zagreb

1/12/2017

Since I started studying in Denmark, which was over 2 years ago, I really appreciate every moment I get to spend in my city. I usually come home twice a year (during Winter and during Summer), but it never seems to be enough for me. It's actually funny how I didn't get homesick at all at the beginning when I started studying abroad.

However, after approximately a year of studying abroad, missing my home started to kick in. It hit me like a truck going 100 km/h that I didn't see coming at all. Then it went away because I was going home for Christmas, but it hit me again last year (2016) in May/June. Although I'm doing really well in school in Denmark and I'm surrounded by lovely people, I still think about Denmark as a place where I'm studying and I can't wait to be done with it at the end of this year so I can return home. Don't get me wrong; Denmark is an amazing place to live, and it gave me an opportunity to learn things I could never learn in my country, but still, something is always missing. It took me some time to realise what that it, besides obviously my family, friends and city, but I finally got it.

I really prefer the lifestyle in Zagreb in comparison to the lifestyle in Denmark. That doesn't mean I think anything negative about the lifestyle in Denmark, it's just that I prefer how people live and enjoy life in Croatia. It's very similar to the lifestyle in Italy, so that's something I consider very close to my country. Having said all of that, Denmark also has its perks and I will enjoy it to the fullest before I'm done with my studies.

These photos  were taken a few days when it still wasn't so cold like it is now. In the last couple of days it's been around -6 degrees every day. Since it wasn't that crazy cold when the photos were taken, I wore my fave faux leather pants, super cozy sweater and suede ankle boots. My fluffy coat makes every outfit look totally chic, and I added a bit of color with this cute pink bag. The bag is new, and even though it was super cheap, it looks really nice.
Hope you like it!

  3. One more leap forward with muscle mass building was in fact the discovery that toiling the muscle to full weariness for each work out had been enough in order to tear it down. The protein consumed by the muscle builder will be predominately useful to reconstruct the damaged tissues, instead of just growing it even more.
