First of all, I really want to thank my lovely followers for checking out my posts and leaving comments. You are all so wonderfull, and I feel really happy every time I see your comments. I also love your blogs, and I try to keep up with all of them. Again, thank you sooo much dears! :)
Another thing that makes me really happy right now is that I got my invitations for Cro-A-Porter today! Woohoo! If you're not from this part of Europe, you probably don't know what that is. Cro-A-Porter is something like Fashion Week London or Paris, etc. It's the biggest fashion event in Croatia, although there are some other ones too. This will be my first time at Cro-A-Porter. Untill now, I only went a few times to Fashion Week Zagreb, which is like the second best fashion event in Croatia. The thing about Cro-A-Porter is that you can't buy tickets for it, and you can buy them for the other events. You can get invitations for Cro-A-Porter only if you're a celebrity, a journalist or if you know one of the designers. Well, I fit into this last category. I know Zoran Aragovic, and he is a designer who used to show his collection at Zagreb Fashion Week so he always gave me invitations for that event. This will be his first time at Cro-A-Porter and now he gave me invitations for that too. I know Zoran because my dad works at a firm with his mom, and I also modeled his clothes at Zagreb Fashion Week a few years ago. I also interviewed him for a croatian fashion website called CroModa this summer. If you know croatian, you can read that interview here: http://www.cromoda.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6101&Itemid=108
So these invitations I got for Saturday for Cro-A-Porter are sooo cool! I was like WOW! when I saw them. They are so original and fun. Here is a pic.
I'll make a post about Cro-A-Porter on Saturday when I come home, or on Sunday. I'll see, but I'll definitely show you my favorite fashion shows from Cro-A-Porter from Saturday.
Anyways, here are my favorite fashion shows from day 7 of Paris FW.

Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri did an amazing collection for Valentino. There were a lot of beautiful cocktail dresses, bows, ruffles and lace which made the whole collection very ladylike. According to style.com, Mr. Valentino Garavani seemed pleased, and that's the best proof that this collection is fab :)
Chanel is one of my favorite brands in the world and Karl Lagerfeld is one of my favorite designers in the world. I mean, Chanel. Who doesn't like Chanel?! This collection is another one from Lagerfeld's masterpieces. He was inspired by a movie from the early sixties called ''Last Year at Marienbad''. It was pretty unusual seeing distressed Chanel jackets, pants and dresses, but I really love this r'n'r side of Chanel.
In my mind, Karl is a genius and he can do no wrong, so I'm definitely in love with the latest Chanel collection.
It's been almost 8 months since Alexander died and I still can't quite comprehend that he's really gone forever. It's so terribly sad that I can't even discuss this right now... Anyhow, Sarah Burton, Alexander's long time associate, continued his work. She knew him really well and you can tell that by looking at her first collection for her late friend's brand. She incorporated some signature McQueen looks into her collection, like for example, the tail coat. The craftmanship was absolutely extraordinary and that's something you really have to appreciate. To conclude, I really love this collection and I think Sarah did an amazing job. I hope she'll keep up the good work:)
